| Title: | The Greenough Room |
| Description: | As part of a tribute to the unheralded genius who began the shortboard revolution, George Greenough who has been one of Rick's surfing heroes since he started surfing. Rick was asked to do a painting honoring George’s life and work. George was the first to shoot a picture from inside of the barrel so that non-surfers could have a small glimpse of what it is like. Seeing the inside of a barrel for Rick is like a rebirth and actually seeing God each time.
The Greenough painting was in 2 museums on exhibit. The first was The Huntington Surf Museum and then the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum.
This piece is multi-media piece incorporating Photography, Giclee imaging and Acrylics on canvas.
